Business Development Rep

The Pitch

You

You have 1-2 years of experience in direct or indirect sales in a lead generation position, ideally in a high-growth, enterprise SaaS environment. You have a passion for – or at least an interest in – using technology to inspire positive behavior change, engage employees and make the world a more sustainable place. You’re a whiz at developing relationships and qualifying new opportunities and prospects through high-volume cold calling and emailing. You enjoy talking about WeSpire’s mission and employee engagement platform and will schedule online meetings and demonstrations for the Sales professionals you support. You will be able to follow up with prospects on marketing campaigns and corporate initiatives and will maintain complete and accurate documentation in Salesforce.com to keep track of all activity. You are a collaborative, team player who will work with the Sales and Marketing teams to cross-sell and upsell initiatives and ideas. Ideally you have a bachelor’s degree, basic knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) tools, 1-2 years of experience in using the Internet for research and analysis and have a basic knowledge of Human Resources. You also have a sense of humor, are fun to work with and like to have wine (or beer) at work on Wednesdays.

Marketing Director

You

You have 5-7 years marketing experience, ideally in a high-growth, enterprise SaaS environment. You have been responsible for developing marketing strategies and plans that include messaging and positioning, inbound marketing, collateral development (case studies, research, sales materials), PR, social media, events and lead generation. You have managed small, highly productive teams. You have strong writing and creative management skills and a knack for simplifying complex ideas that will resonate with target customers. You know how to effectively support enterprise sales and client success teams. You focus on results and analytics, and know Hubspot, Salesforce and Google Analytics or similar tools extremely well. You are flexible, smart, capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing efficiently. You love working in a fast-paced, start-up environment and are fun to work with.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be working with a super smart team of entrepreneurs, top-notch sales talent, great designers, and fabulous engineers to scale the company and support new customer growth and usage of the platform. You will be leading the marketing strategy and plan development with support from a marketing-oriented CEO, across all channels, from inbound marketing and lead gen, to events and PR, to sales material and collateral development. You will provide creative messaging, copy and other support to the client success team. You will be managing a small team and be accountable for awareness, buzz and new customer growth.

Senior Software Engineers

You

You have 5+ years of experience building software for rich interactive web and mobile applications for the consumer or enterprise, ideally with a broad user base like social platforms, gamification platforms, or lifestyle, action-based apps (Foursquare, Runkeeper, LoseIt, health platforms, etc) You are able to design complex features that work and scale on your first day. You will be able to provide insightful feedback and improvement during code reviews and develop more junior engineers. You are agile, smart, creative, and love solving problems and being in a start-up. You like making things happen. You have a great ability to maintain perspective, keep a sense of humor and be fun to work with.

You get bonus points if you have contributed to an open source software project (show us your github account!) and a fabulous mobile app. You know BJ Fogg’s work at Stanford’s Persuasive Labs and have used it previously in your work.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be working a super smart team of entrepreneurs, top notch sales talent, UX engineers, and back-end engineers to scale the company and drive adoption and usage of the platform, on both web and mobile devices, for the leading companies in the world. You’ll be shipping your own code every day, while providing technical leadership to lift the code quality of all your teammates. In the process, you will also become a pioneer in using technology to drive real-life behavior change for good.

WeSpire Interns

We’re looking for doers. You should have experience working on a team to accomplish projects and get results. You have the ability to write short copy, e.g. customer-service emails, promotion blurbs, tweets. You should be very comfortable taking notes and producing reports. You love hunting down info on the internet. You are comfortable owning a project from start to finish without being managed, and you are not shy about asking for help when direction is unclear. You are interesting, love to work, and are fun to spend time with. You read carefully, so put pancake bunny in the subject of your email. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, wide-ranging reading and viewing habits, keen interest in popular culture and the benefits of sustainability for businesses and enterprises of all types.
