Business Development Representative

What you’ll be doing as a Business Development Representative

  • Using data to identify and research key accounts and contacts
  • Reaching out to prospects using cold-calling, email, social media, and any other creative means possible to quickly build rapport and relationships
  • Turning visitors into interested buyers by exposing the value of the WeSpire
  • Identifying a prospect’s pain to create urgency
  • Showcasing product demos to communicate the value of WeSpire
  • Inspiring contacts to be agents for change in their organizations using stories and data

How you’ll be measured

  • Qualified sales deals created
  • Connections made with key accounts and contacts
  • Your ability to clearly articulate a prospect’s pain and WeSpire’s value

What you should have

  • Superior grit, with the determination to keep going in the face of setbacks
  • Courageous and not easily intimidated, especially by people in power
  • Passionate and educated about diversity and inclusion, sustainability, social impact, and/or wellbeing in the workplace
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and ambition when it comes to achieving your goals
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Bonus points for

  • Experience cold calling
  • Familiarity with HR, DE&I, sustainability, CSR and/or ESG
  • Experience with Google suite, Hubspot, and sales engagement platforms (e.g. Outreach, Salesloft)
